    Well it looks real...
I would say F/VF....I think it would be a pick one....it is close to VF...

I don't think LIBERTY would show that good for VG...I think it is strounger than VG...
I couldn't tell if the rim nicks were on the coin or if it was the flip....since its on the coin then F...but its still a nice coin!

    Bone,
I just saw one at my coin dealer's today that must be as close to AU as it gets.BEAUTIFUL! I forget the year but the price is $350 firm.I'm only worried about it being one of those Hong Kong specials but the dealer guarantees it.I might treat myself for Christmas if it's still there. :eat:

Man, you have NO IDEA how much these scam artist's burn my behind. The FBI should get involved and Ebay needs to be more agressive when it comes to listing's where the same seller has like 20 identical Trade Dollars or 8 Reales all lined up one after another with bidder's ID kept secret.

You now know how I feel about this fraud...

Regarding Trade Dollars and the strong possibility of counterfiets, do you folks think it's a good idea to buy one certified (especially one that is XF or better)?

Absolutely !! And make sure it is certified by NGC, PCGS, ANACS or ICG.

I would also say its a fake...the face is wrong...and the detail is sharp where as I would think it wouldn't be so much in the grade it would be.
