There is no corresponding legal requirement to mint and issue the proof and uncirculated coins in quantities sufficient to meet public demand. The United States Mint, however, is continuing to work with current and potential blank suppliers to increase the supply of silver and gold blanks in amounts that may make it possible to offer the proof and uncirculated versions of American Eagle Silver and Gold Coins in 2010.
Does this announcement include - by inference - the release of proof nickels, dimes, etc. on or about 7/22? Does the TBD designation for ASE's mean date of release not finalized OR production yes/no has not been resolved? This is probably a rhetorical question but it does need to be asked.
They are releasing proof sets 7/22/10. The mint has never sold the nickels and dimes or halves separately. Both, they haven't decided if they will be making them, and so of course when they will be released has also not been decided.
