Up for grabs? Well, it's not going to be an immediate sell out, but who's ordering one? I've got a subscription for 'em so I'm already entered. Got my order # too...:) As long as we're on the subject, I'd be interested to know when the folks that order these sets at 12 PM Thursday receive them, as opposed to us folks who have subscriptions for the product.

    Thanks Panda....:)

  5. I cancelled my subscription so that I can order some items together and save on shipping. I am wondering if the decrease in coins (from 2009) and increase in price (from 2009) will impact ordering. TC

Are they doing a full proof set this year, because I can't seem to find a full proof set online.

    Thanks

What!! 57 bucks for the silver set? I'm glad I stopped ordering sets a few years ago.

It seems a little misleading of them to show a photo of a 2009 set in the place of a 2010, despite the written description.

And $31.95 for the Uncirculated set too. These sets from the mint are indeed getting a tad pricey. Time was that a young collector could pick up the year sets for a very affordable price. That day, sadly, has passed.

That's just the subscription thingy. All they are doing is showing what it would cost for the subscription (next in line, 2010) if you elected to subscribe. This was put up on the site way in advance and Lord knows the Mint doesn't update the site very often....

Ok, I see now. The price issue is unfortunate. I think it is the unintended consequence of attempting to build collector interest by issuing 14 different coins per year. One looks back to the 6 coin proof sets and sees that it sould be about quality not quantity.

El Bumpo......If we could just conduct a little test.

I just checked my subscription status for this set and it's gone from back ordered (7/28) to in stock and reserved. The question of whether subscription sets hit the front door faster than 12 PM ordered sets is debated on these boards from time to time. So......if you 12 PM guys would post your "in hand" date I'd be most appreciative. :) I'll post my reception date as well.

    Ordered 2010 UNC Set today

Just ordered 10 sets @ 12:03pm. The shipment date is 1 to 2 weeks from today. I hope the condition is better than average uncirculated.

I just got an email from the mint that they shipped my subscription sets already. Now that is service.
