Team, Here is a MS-62ish 1882CC Morgan. I took two pictures of the obverse for effect. One straight on and the other at the "Classic, Ebay Slant" LOL. Take Care Bone
Hello Bone.... From an untrained eye I would guess the Obverse to be MS63 while the Reverse to be MS64....overall I am going to say MS63. Very nice CC dollar I must say! Again, from an untrained eye. Good luck.. RickieB
I would have to say 63. That's got a really nice reverse though! I sent an 1892 CC Morgan to NGC that I would say is in the same shape as yours. They gave it a 63.
I'd have to go with MS62. There are just way to many marks on her face and in the obverse fields for anything better. Chris
MS62, maybe MS61 IMO. The reverse is nice, but a lot of reverses are nice. Unfortunately, the hits on the obverse are just too heavy (much more so from what I can see than on the pictured 1892-CC, whose MS63 grade I agree with).
Isn't that value a little high for an MS62? I mean, it's been 3 years since I bought a roll of MS63/64, but it only cost me $3200 ($160 each). Chris
FWIW, the coin you are talking about was bought at least 4 years ago - long before you bought your roll.
Yes, that is PCGS's price, but I really do not think Ben will notice the difference. He go PO'ed and left he 2 years ago.
