I have a dollar bill, series 1963 A that is the normal color on the front and blue on the back. It is in circulated condition that I would call fair. Does this have any value and where could I research the value. It appears to be an error. Any info and direction would be appreciated.
It is highly unlikely that the note is genuine as far as the blue ink goes. Chemically treated notes show up fairly often...the BEP has never printed any notes with a complete blue back for circulating currency in that denomination in it's history. Brown Backs? yes indeed (large size), but no blue backs. RickieB
