Found my first repeater note? I forgot what they are called honestly sorry. I know it's not a radar. Not in that great of condition. Seems to be crinkled a lot and has a small tear in the upper right corner. Also found another interesting 20 with the 666 and 999 but didn't know if it would be worth anything. some creases and bends no tears though Also the 100* is from a run of only 320,000 but it's beat up already which ticked me off. wondering if that is worth anything? the top seems to be crinkled up from a wallet. Also the 5 is just a low serial number. Also somewhat beat up but I know someone said low serial numbers are below 10k and I found one Just didn't know what it was worth. normal wear and tear without the tears
In these conditions there is not much hope for values over face. Put them to use... you have $145 that you might buy a nice high graded note for your collection, perhaps even with a radar, repeater or some other special SN you like. If I came across these notes I'd only hold onto the New York $20 with the 6s and 9s in the SN for the pure novelty of that SN. You've got a good eye and a decent source for picking notes, it's just too bad they are coming out of circulation as opposed to straight out of new bank straps. As an alternative, you could use this money towards searching straps. Ask your bank for a brand new strap of notes, you might be lucky enough to get a block of notes with SNs that could be worth something. Remember that condition is primarily where its at with currency.
That's what I figured. Thanks a lot for the help! My bank hardly EVER gets new notes. I've only seen straps of 1's and 5's at a couple locations everything else is circulated so I'm kinda picking what I can get haha. I looked through the new notes for stars but never thought to look for radars or anything else so now I will, but again havn't come across any new straps!
