I found this "note" about 20 years ago while I was walking through a shopping mall. I spotted it as I was leaving a store and I knew right away it was a U.S. bill. I casually scooped it up and tucked it in my pocket, happy to find a $10 bill. Later, I unfolded it and the excitement was sucked right out of me.

    Here's why:

Great story. Glad you hung on it and shared it with CT!

I recall having a similar type of note, however, it was a $1 note. when opened it verbalized on how inept you were and what a fool you were to have picked it up. The profanity contained within it was let's just say down right vulgar by all respects.

That one is very cool and I enjoyed seeing it.

Thanks for posting it..brought back some memories.

That's a great story and a nice piece for your collection. I have a friend who collects these advertising notes and some are truly weird.

Its been years since I've come across one but the ones I used to find were 50's; never have seen a 10.

I too would see these. They only bothered me when they were the only thing left on the table after I waited on it for an hour as a server. lol
