A Very Late Tribute to the Artemis Mission

    Well, better late than never. At least the mission is still in progress.

    I thought it would be fun to pair up a thaler that I have, from Luneburg, Germany, with A Trip to the Moon by George Méliès, produced in 1902. Each frame was hand colored in the enchanting and pioneering film.

    Wow, that is one handsome thaler! I've admired the type in some of my browsing on MA-Shops. Maybe one day I'll acquire one.
