Well the photos are definitely better, but looked a little washed out, if you catch my drift.

You'll nearly perfect it in good time! ;)

Here is another I found. I think I like this one better. At least it is in better condition.

Did you receive them in change?

Yea I wanna spend more time with it and try different things but I gotta get a new battery for my camera. Thing only lasts for about 10 pics on a charge.

Improved images! Looking like there's more color too... just got some camera shake (tripod in use?) and the lights may be a bit too bright overall.

I am not sure just what your definition of "change" is. I used to run to the bank on my bicycle (when that wasn't frowned upon) with shoe boxes for my "change" and I did that as often as I could. At one point I even had a complete set of Peace dollars shy only the 21 and 34S(?). I sold those 22 dollars for $34 - 28- included although it was in not so great shape.

Yea no tripod yet, going to see about getting one tomorrow or saturday.

Well I thought it was more recent. Did you get them back then, back in the Peace Dollar days?

Must've been cool just going down to the bank, getting that stuff :)
My dad, 57, spent pre-65 coinage all the time, wishes he would've kept it, but it was the norm back then.

And HeadsUp, I still don't have a tripod, but it is recommended that you get one. And you might want to try OTT or some other kind of light.

HeadsUp: Consider that you may only need a small or mini table top tripod or better yet a simple copy stand.

Thanks for the link. I had looked at some mini tripods online but none said if they would be able to go 90 degrees and point down. Those copy stands seem like what i need and while I'm there I'll look for some OTT lights. Thanks for the help everyone.

Yes, that was all in the 50's maybe early 60's and yes, you had no choice but to spend pre-65 coinage before 1965. That included Indian cents:goofer:, SLQ's:hammer:, barbers:confused:, 90% silver dollars:rolling:, etc.

The coin is round, really. Had to shot at angle to catch color. I am using a point and shoot camera and have to get very close to the coin making for less than ideal lighting. Anyway, I'm posting this primarily to see if I can post a photo on this new fangled software.

That toner is really beautiful. I saw a similar one with the same red hues, but none of the other colors present on your coin for sale but I'm not going to buy it just yet. I've seen quite a bit of toned buffaloes in the market, and wanted to buy them all a while back!
    Toned buffaloes can be gorgeous.

^Normally this would be a nice intro for me to post a toner of mine, but all I got is this no dater for y'all.

I went through all my images early this morning and re-edited them and they all look better. I tried the technique I used on the above coin, it should look sharper, and less blurry than my post ones.
I would post before and afters but that would be a lotta coins!
