    Fischer-Spassky 1972 Reykjavik World Chess Championship commemorative coin.

    I have a commemorative coin from the 1972 Reykjavik World Chess Championship.
    The coin is showing Fischer and Spassky.

    I have been trying to find some more info on the coin but no luck so far.
    Would like to find out who designed the coin, how many were made etc..

    Would anyone on this forum have any info?

    My 2007 post must have been deleted.
    I can not find any such coin under Iceland in Krause Catalog of World Coins.
    The coin above might actually be a medal.
    Bobby Fischer is back in the news because somebody dug him up.
