Yes. I like collecting something that will NEVER be complete. With my budget, I think I've done well.

 

One thing I like is your not afraid to buy coins pitted, dinged, scratched or enviro. damaged.

 

As long as I get a fair price, damages coins have more detail and are easier to attribute. If I hit the lotto, I'll try to be Dan Holmes. Till then, I settle for coins with CHARACTER.

 

Nice Marshall. Very nice indeed. Really like the 186.

And anyone - including Dan Holmes - who collects by variety will have some problem coins. As a matter of fact I think a couple in the middle dates had something done to them - recolored or cleaned. I am not sure you can avoid it. I think Marshall as a good set going.
