Figured I'd ask 2nd, 3rd, etc opinions, though I'm sure the answer is to spend it. In question is $100 crisp (no folds) 1985 B46333264A. Feels like a shame sending it back out to the wild but i don't think there's much upside to almost RADAR's. What do you all think?

F-2171B (New York) Series 1985 Ortega | Baker, 259,200,000 printed. There were no stars for the New York notes of this Series.

The Official Red Book: A Guide Book of US Paper Money, 2nd Edition, book price for Gem Unc is $175.

You never know who might bite on eBay, could turn a bit more than face, but probably not $175 as you know book prices are inflated.

i would say thats a spender. i doubt you would find someone willing to pay book value. there are way to many of those notes.

It's just like gambling, an "almost" on anything has no payout.
