What's Up with the New Forum?

I'm a little lost with this new setup. When I tried to start it said I didn't have the right to see this page. I closed this and tried to reopen and it still said that. I tried to log in and it said I couldn't see this page. What page I don't know. Finally was able to sign on and found the page was about half sized but after a while it grew to almost 3/4 size. No smiling faces either or they are hidden somewhere. Yes a bit faster but still all confused.
When I clicked on a tab at the top that said HOME, the screen said I did not have permission to see that page. HUH? HOME page not able? Then again when I tried to find something the page went back to about 1/2 screen. Getting more and more confused. Little tabs at the top of this box are not labled so I guess it's just a guess what they are for.

I get the same error message. It's like my account is not activated. Says I am not aloowed to go to home page. When I click on "home" I get the error message.

Anyone having trouble posting in the "Open" Section?

 

One "problem" I have with that section is that I do not see the listings in the new posts.

 

I tried to list in the new classified section, but it wouldn't let me without a price. I just want to post a listing to trade state quarter rolls at face value.

My first listing has several items. I just itemized the listing and put in an arbitrary value in the "price" field. You could include a note to the effect that the value is meaningless and to disregard it if you feel it's necessary.

 

Yeah, that will work, if there's no fix, thanks. But figure Mr. Davis should have a fix soon. Have to allow some clean looking trade threads.

 

I feel lost. Bring back the old format. Where am i? Now have funny red crosses on little boxes in my screen..never had that before on CT.........oh well....I expect I 'll get used to it.............Marbury518

Finally elected to put my coins into bank safe deposit today...I feel like I'm saying goodbye to the kids as they leave home......concerned and perhaps relieved, yet tearful.

 

I like the new format, then again I liked the old format.

Did we lose the popular post that use to be on the right side?

 

If you mean the new post feature, then yes and no.
It is no longer a really long list, like it used to be, and I've also noticed it doesn't update live, like it used to.
There should be a button on the right side with two arrows on it, click it and the new blogs/posts sidebars will popup. You will notice with the new post sidebar that it is different on every forum you go on, and on your subscribed threads page it is different as well.

Certainly miss the old one.
