At your request... A circulated 2006 North Dakota State Quarter, something to fill the heard until a mightier beast of superior USDA grade comes along to take it's place. I shot it in a hurry too, so the imaging is nothing to be too critical about either. I was tempted to set it on fire and hose it off but then it might be considered AT and cleaned. LOL! :goofer:
Took less than 2 minutes to shoot both obverse and reverse of the two coins I posted, of course my setup is always ready to go, I flip two switches, and I can set my camera without looking. Krispy, I don't think it would matter if it got set on fire three times. That coin would be an AT coin of black!
Thanks dwhiz, guess the image didnt show up before I posted. Did you personally send it to DGS after finding it in change? Why not NGC or PCGS?
Good question. I wanted to try them out for grading, I found them to be very strick. I did send a few in, then sent them to PCGS and all but one came back at least one point higheame back one point lower. I will send this in some day to PCGS
Well dwhiz, I hear DGS is a very good grading service... PCGS still has retail factor but hey, if PCGS is giving them one grade higher, maybe I should start buying DGS coins and sending them in to sell them one point higher... Could prove a way to make profit, if sending in the right coins Conor, I LOVE it!
All those coins I sent to DGS were raw-I wanted to check my grading skills. They were copper, silver and one gold coin.
T$$.. Love the Thread and some really nice coins here.. could not resist posting this..LOL You did say post a Buffalo..
