Haven't been able to find anything on this really so I'm coming here for my first post! I've got a 1974 Eisenhower Dollar that has a partial missing rim and the date is extremely close to the edge of the coin. This is only evident on the obverse side. It's a slight misaligned die... very slight. These don't start to bring any kind of premium until one side looks 5-10% off center and is possibly missing a design element. It's common on ikes and halves to be slightly misaligned and doesn't command a premium.
Ike MAD I've submitted coins for grading with slightly more of a misaligned die than this one and they don't come back slabbed as an error. So, I'd consider this to be within the tolerance of the mint, although you could still call it a minor misaligned die.
Here's one of my coins to show (in my experience) the minimum amount a coin can be mis-aligned to get the designation.
