when you click the icon for posting a pic, then click "From URL" there is a check box, Uncheck it

silly question...is there any way to come back to the thread after opening a link like the one you just posted without using the browser back button?

rlm: This one I first uploaded from my desktop to a new album I created in my profile page, then I dragged and dropped your image in my album to this post dialog box and this is what I get.

 

the options for uploading seem to be many

 

this is from my desktop

 

this one was from my desktop with a file size less than 100kb
the first was 140kb or so..

 

Ok, using Photobucket or ant other online source ...

Click the image icon, see arrow ...


Then click "From URL" ...



Then Uncheck the box ...

 

Here is one from my downloads. That works fine. But, like I said, I have 1200 pictures in random order. I just downloaded this one last week and it was on page 25 of 60. It works, but it is impractical for me.

 

Are you looking to upload from your computer or link from a file hosting site? I've been giving directions to using a file hosting site or posting a pic from another website.

 

Trying to do it straight from my desk top. The picture below (1909-S) came from "existing files".

 

above is from the quick reply "insert image" and if you go advanced to manage attachments on the top of the box is "add files", clicking on it opens up a box and clicking on "select files" then "upload files" and it should then put it in the box on the bottom as added....I think
