Nice, it'll take some getting used to though. A couple of things I noticed, the pics aren't resizing, but that could be my computer. See http://www.cointalk.com/showthread.php?89708-2010-Lincoln-Shield-Cent-Pics and the US Coin forum is listed at the bottom of it's section. Shouldn't it be closer to the top?
Good. I figured out that clicking on "Settings" at the top right shows Subscribed Threads with New Posts.
Other than that the other way to get to it is Quick Links then Subscribed Threads, that is the way I used to do it back in the old days. I recently discovered clicking USER CP brought you to your subscribed threads with new posts, now it is called Settings though, which you pointed out
Precisely. That's exactly how I did it in the earlier version - it's what kept me sane with keeping track of new posts to my multiple subscriptions. Now the same can be accomplished by clicking on Settings.
When CT opens up, at the Home screen, this is what appears. It appears each time Home is clicked: CheetahCats, you do not have permission to access this page. This could be due to one of several reasons: Your user account may not have sufficient privileges to access this page. Are you trying to edit someone else's post, access administrative features or some other privileged system? If you are trying to post, the administrator may have disabled your account, or it may be awaiting activation.
It is also not letting me click on any forum itself, just the threads. Invalid Forum specified. If you followed a valid link, please notify the administrator Also getting what Cheetah is getting... Guess there are still some bugs to work, eh Peter?
Perhaps, but there must have been a redirect, because simply typing in www.cointalk.com used to redirect into the Forums.
The only way I can do anything is with newpost. I can at least see new posts and read those. So T$ as long as you play guess the next poster I can see your new post.
You can get to that page simply by clicking on the "Bulletin" top left of every page. That is the equivalent of what home used to be.
Peter, I'm sure you've got some more noodling to do with the site... but I wanted to point out that with the color scheme change since earlier the top banner of the page has effected the ease of viewing the white type over the very pale gray background. It's QUITE hard to read.
Now I have a new complaint. I cannot read the menu (second line) without highlighting it. White does not show up well on the powder blue/gray.
Right, that's my issue too. The New Post, PM, FAQs, Calendar, etc. line is impossible to read right now.
