Not sure what else I can tell you. You already know its dated 1898, and that its British. Beyond that, it says ONE PENNY right on the reverse. Value is, unfortunately, minimal. About $1, if you're lucky.
Even though it isn't worth very much, I always thought the design was beautiful. I have quite about of those pennies, and can't really see myself selling them. I certainly won't get the money I paid for them, but they are just too beautiful of a coin, even when worn. Keep it, treasure it, give it to the kids
