    Hi I have a Question, What does the mint of a coin mean I was just wondering I now other stuff about things but this is confuseing to me!! :rolling:

    Back to the discussion - it does seem that the Soviet Union during the 80s still had an awful lot of precious metal inventory in their vaults. Of how much there could be, I am not too sure. Could such coins be restrikes? I am not going to be suprised as platinum rubles were restriked. Perhaps a mass spectrometry tests on such coins would be necessary to test out the differences.
