its the effect of the coin in a blue jean pocket while in the heat. The blue jeans transfer to the coin

Guys, I know you are just kidding Orange Gold about the blue jeans transfer, but here is a true story. My wife was visiting her friend whose son had heart valve surgery. She called me and said he was blue, but still alert and active. Oximeter was lo, but not serious, but being afraid it was related to the surgery, I told them I could only think of chemical toxicity( they live in the rural area), but he should go to ER in case it was cardiac related. When he arrived, they started doing tests, and was about to send him to MRI when one of the nurses noticed her alcohol wipe was removing the blue color. His girl friend had bought him new sheets ( nice deep blue) for his bed, but neither one knew they should be washed first. Perspiration picked up the dye and transferred it to him body. Everyone now calls him "Blue Boy".

I have nothing against AT blue nickels, but I think if you want one, you should look for some quality in both the coin and the AT.

that blue looks like it could be ink from a stamp pad someone got on their fingers. alcohol will probably dissolve it.

Thanks Chris. If that one doesn't float your boat, we can always go more blue.

There used to be a guy on E-Bay (Chicky's Nickel Hut) that sold these blue AT nickels by the bushel and some of them were very attractive.

Oh yeah, NT blue chases the AT blues away! This's great. Can't get tired of seeing these.
