I was wondering if anybody else would buy new albums and if so, which would you like to buy?

    None.
Satin finish is the Unc US MINT sets since 2005.
SMS is the 1965 =>1967 Special Mint Sets.
1996W dime is the special dime in the 1996 Mint Set.
Commemorative Sets. 1998s Kennedy 1994P and 1997P Jeffersons.

This isn't really what you asked but- When Dansco added slots to the 7070 type set album I bougt a newer version. Still have the older one too.
    Both are not completed.

I've written Whitman and told them I'm not buying anymore of their folders/albums/red book until they're update. Just too many missing coins and my satins are looking for a home.

Out of curiosity, what slots did they add? I believe my 7070 is one of the more recent editions, so I'm guessing they added all of the varieties of the seated liberty coins. Seems you need to find three examples in every applicable denomination. Of course I'm finding that buying three decent example of each coin in non slabbed condition is an expensive proposition. :hammer:

Just a heads up. If any of you contact Whitman, you can expect them to reply that the satins are too specialized for inclusion in their albums or separate listings in the Red Book. I asked them, well then, how do you justify including the silver proofs and not the satins. I would prefer holes for the satins, as those are the type of coins I'd put in albums - I do not put proofs in albums.
    The response was, “I duno”.

I dont collect all denominations but i would definitely upgrade to a specific denomination album if it had holes for the satin + silver ones too !

That answer indicates that they are not really into coins, which is weird since it is their business!

How about no satins in the folders, yes satins in the pricier ones with the plastic slides.

Yeah, I'd prefer holes in the albums, don't care if they're in the folders.

I contacted Whitman because I'd like to see the satins listed separately in The Red Book too - that would definitely help demand, as it would point out their low mintage. So, if you do contact them, mention The Red Book too.

I am on board with this. I will do a few emails and maybe a phone call or two. Have Dansco added satins?
