I read somewhere that people looking for high grade halves will buy the rolls from the mint, then dump the ones they don't want to submit to a TPG service.

You might save the 2010s (or any current years you find in future) until you have some rolls you could list on eBay and see if they manage to fetch anything worth the effort and expense to list them. otherwise they are worth face, pretty much forever.

Ugh ok, I guess I'll go try to dig the ones I decided not to keep back out haha

Here are pics of the frankie taken from my phone so you can still see just how bad it is. Not even worth getting my camera.

halves are such a big denomination to work with.

Do you call your bank in advance to buy a $500.00 box?

I haven't been able to get a bank to order a box for me yet. The bank I've been going to all my life never got back to me, nor seemed interested, and I have to call wachovia friday to see if they can order a box for me or not. All I have found are cwr, and a bank that usually has a large amount on hand at all times.

just finished 2 rols of halves, 4 nickels rolls, and 10 pennie rolls. Nothing really except 1955 d nickel about ef45 with almost full steps.

Nothing in the halves or pennies :(

As to the 2010 halves. The unc sets aren't supposed to be issued until next month. So they have to come from the bags and rolls.

The color looks way off on that 1913. Is that how it looks in hand?

Found a 2009-P roosie last week and a 2010-P Roosie today. I guess they're starting to hit public circulation more and more.

Have 4 boxes ordered this week. 2 from the normal bank and 2 additional from a new bank (also using Dunbar). Today was the first box from the new bank. In the entire box there were only about 10 marked coins which is very little for around here. No silver in this box, but there were a few 1980 coins that looked like they were just put into circulation.

Hopefully the next 3 boxes give up the goods.

Also, I purchased $10 worth of pennies today when I was at the bank picking up the box. 1 of the rolls must have been from the batch I purchased last week because it was probably 40% wheats. The earliest was a 1918 and most others were 40's and 50's. My penny photos suck but I'm working on it and will get them up when I get it good.

I have slowed down lately but love searching the nickels. Got a box this weekend that I am just now going through and found the oldest nickel I ever found, an 1892! It has definitely seen better days but i'll take it!! Anyone lose an 1892 Liberty V?? :)

Just went through my first box of halves. It did not go to good. Hopefully I am getting the negative one out of the way first. It was a shut out. I get another next week so hopefully it is better.
