hi there coin talk crew, i have only gone and found a genuine 20 pence piece mule undated both sides.this is the second in my fammly as my mother found one a few months ago.sadly its on ebay as i really do need the cash.shame as i said we should of kept the last one.condition is good only minimal wear but it does show signs of circulation.must of picked it up in some change when i was in scarborough yesterday in the pub watching the football.
thought it may of been of interest but no your not bothered. oh well sorry for sharing this with you yes it may not be a gold 1600 century super rare find but at least i expected a "hey neat" but no.good bye. coin talk crew=:hammer:
congratulations on your find but nowadays, many people sell them in eBay. Sound like it still easy to find one....
Its summertime. Coin forums, especially WORLD coin forums, are sloooow. In any case the reverse is a very cool design and very nice double tiering. I, however, HATE real people. It is making my 20th century Crown sized silver collection very hard to find coins for.
thankyou yes summertime does keep one away from the old computer i suppose sorry if i came over rude there. i was just exited to share my find.yes looks like they are not as rare as people think i told 20 30 people what i had and they just looked at me with this blank (what you on about look) so people forget and dont check unlike me and my fammly. 2 with my mothers is lucky though.
hey randygeki and dctjr80 them are some nice coins! randygeki did you find the coins or did you purchase those as there REALLY OLD i love em.
coin collecting in Britain is fun as you can find lots and lots and lots of varieties. I was there only three days this year, and I found fifteen different pound coins, including a certified counterfeit, and stuff from the Isle of Man and Gibraltar.
Very interesting find! It's listed as KM# 1122; having the obverse of KM #990 and the reverse of KM #1111.
I bought one of these 20p "dateless" mules (possibly yours!) on eBay for my Mule Team (i.e., mule collection.) It's a very handsome design anyway, and the mint blooper adds more interest. Wish I had the cash for the Isle of Man/Ascension crown mule!
