Steel Cent Cud Found In BU Roll

One of our buddies at another forum found this exceptional example of a unique "CUD" while searching one of his rolls. Interesting reading at CONECA.

Cool. I like how the cud caused a very weak L in LIBERTY on the obverse.

 

HA! I didn't really notice that until now that you mentioned it. I like the sharp edges of the cud itself. Normally they are round.

 

That is a really nice find. Have never found one on a steelie...

That's something David has been asking as well. Because it is different from all the other examples, it is unknown. I don't think it is much more than the others but just might be a little higher, I think.
