1908 indian head

You should note that you can't really say this mintmark is placed exactly right as there were several mintmark placements on the 1908-S Indian Cents. The mintmarks were placed on the dies by hand so there is some variation as to the location of the marks and some of them were placed well off-center.

For examples of this, just flip through the cents listed in my 1908-S Indian Cent set (link in my signature line).

In particular, look at the mintmarks on my AU50, AU53 and AU55 and you'll clearly see that the AU53 mintmark is well to the right of the others.
