I just wanted to make mention of this page I created a few weeks ago concerning Jefferosn nickel counterfeits. I would be interested in viewing and possibly photographing any counterfeits that some of you may have for inclusion on the website. I find them quite interseting and for the most part tough coins to locate.
I bought two 1944 non silver conterfeits today. This is the coin that received the honorable mention in the Red Book. Seller knew they were conterfeit, and sold them to us for our educational department. I will post pics later in the week. Both are altered dates. Nice job on both though.
