As part of my mass re-focusing of the collection (selling off anything US or lower grade I can), I have aimed to use the funds to expand on a nice variety set of the Double Taler depicting Leopold the Hogmouth. I was recently able to find a variety I did not have for my signature set. These heavy pieces have become tough to find nice and this was was a "painful" bargain, which I was able to get at less its hammer in the 2007 Heritage Auction.

Thanks for posting the coins! I first learned about poor old Leopold from one of your earlier posts. You have some great coins.

You know, for many reasons, I'm coming to think this is one of the GREAT coin designs in history.
