    More than likely. Doing research the family goes back to 1040. There is a DNA test I plan on taking eventually that "The male Scudamore/ Skidmore has the same Y chromosome as all of his male Scudamore/ Skidmore ancestors as well as of all his male Scudamore/ Skidmore descendants." That would be cool. They say our ancestors came from England and settled in VA which is now WV.
