Just bought this 1997P AsE PR69 for $65. Was it a good deal? Also is the dealer reputable?

I dont really know, with ebay you really never know if he's reputable. With ASE's they're not too hard to get so unless your trying to save some cash, i would just buy from a local dealer or a trusted gold and silver dealer (apmex).

 

Some ase's proofs go 100+ dollars.

 

Look at all his feed back and then click on the negatives he has 10 this month

 

For the ebay seller...? thats horrible.

 

No some sellers of ASE PRs are ASKING over $100.

 

Actually, you didn't do too bad on price, with shipping. The 97-P ASE is valued around $80-$95.

 

the 10 negative feeed back are from the same 2 peps so i thought it was okish

 

We'll see when the coin comes in i guess. (if it even does).

 

In the future, and just for your information, you may want to consider purchasing these coins in OGP (original government packaging) as most of these grade out at '69 or better...

true but i kind wanted to buy slabbed coin cause i dont have slab in my collection. Also im just buying 1 coin to look at, not starting collection (im poor ) and Im not into other denominations yet.
