U.S. $20.00 Gold Liberty or Saint at VF

    is a U.S. $20.00 Gold Liberty or Saint at around VF conditions worth $600? i would like to purchase one (don't really need a high grade one, just want a nice cheap one to play around with) and i am looking at some at fastcoin.com

    if you want a saint common date ( like a 1924 ) they can be had for around 550+ in unc grades...

    here is a saint that i picked up for $515 at a coin show early this year, at the time gold was at $430 an ounce or so.

    I got really lucky and it came back from PCGS fgraded MS-64, so its worth around $700-800, but you get the idea.

    If you buy through a major dealer handling hundreds of $20s and scanning them for slabbing material, they will often sell their rejects for about 3-4% over bullion. When gold was at 493.00 a week and a half ago, I could pick up EF-AU Libs for $515 each, and Saints for $533.00 each.
