Hello, I am a Web/Software Application Developer and a Numismatist. You can name you software as "Numis-Magic". from Shariq Khan http://coinsindia.info http://shariqs-projects.co.in http://samples.shariqs-projects.co.in http://coincollectorsofindore.blogspot.com
Last day for entries! I will choose my top ten favorites and post a poll for the final name once I sort through the large amount of entries. Thank you for everyone who participated! -greg
Greg, Why have everyone who submitted entries vote on it? It's your software, and your vote should be the only one that counts. I think you should just pick the one you like best. Chris
Good question Chris. I have come up with a few that I think are good as well. They will be included in the 10. I guess I figured that since I am really doing this for the community, that they should have an opinion also. For the final poll, the ones I choose will definitely all be ones I like. On some level, I guess I'm hoping that by letting the community choose it, it will also push them towards using it. Although, I don't know if I need to consider the fact that some of the 'power' users on here could sway the poll in their favor. I would hope that wouldn't happen for a $35-$50 prize.
As a former programmer, I'm just still impressed with work you must have put in to come up with this software. :thumb: Nice job!!!
Well hopefully you will have the same opinion when you see it! The development will be ongoing for a long time. This will be rolled out in phases. Phase 1 will cover the basic needs of a coin collector (I hope). Also, phase 1 will only include U.S. Coins.
Just sent a PM, then I went and read the rules! A little backxsswards I guess, oh please don't hold against me as I'm hoping I gave at least one winning name and that's the winning name of course!! The contest will run until midnight (Eastern time) on June 21st. Read more: http://www.cointalk.com/t109861/#ixzz0rqjLD11b
