Sent my 1914-D to PCGS for Secure Plus - what do you think they will do?

Charmy, I'm happy for you! I thought the coin would go. I love getting coins to upgrade and its one of my favorite things to crack out a coin and try to upgrade it. Sometimes I send them in for regrade and have had limited success doing that as well. It makes me feel like I really know the coins I collect. Although I've recently had a coin boddybagged that was in a 63 holder I'll send it back in and hopefully get it graded this time. Each submission has a dissapointment and a silver lining but I really like the anticipation of the process. It keeps it fun and interesting for me. Take care, Matt

Doug, you are very knowledgable and experienced, and I say this with kindness, but in this case you are not right. :hug:

It is my understanding that more experienced graders take a much closer look at coins that are sent under the Secure Plus service, so I would think their opinions should be given more credence.

Also, you have not seen this coin in hand, I have - and I humbly feel with my specific experience and knowledge of copper that my opinion should be afforded a little more weight than perhaps even yours. Also, all who have seen this coin in hand have agreed it was MS65.

Just because some perhaps lesser experienced graders graded it one way before doesn't mean they were right.
