1972 USA Dollar Coins 1919 25C Canadian Coin 1930 no mint mark Lincoln wheat penny worn 1942 walking liberty 1956 P silver dime silver washingtons: 1942 1946 1953 (2) 1954 1955 1956 1957 1963 1964 (2) Thanks, You guys are awesome, I found this site one day when i was bumbling around on google... I never really knew anyone else who was into coins but well, Hello Internet World
1919 25C Canadian Coin depending on condition- melt value to $450 in MS-64. In lower grades usually about $3 and up.
Im sorry but what do you mean by melt value $450? The silver content is not that much except for the fact that its old silver, or would I be wrong? Sorry I am just a little confused, never got into grades and such, always just collected coins I thought were "cool" looking.
what he was saying was, the Canadian quarter in "mint state"(ms), is worth $450. coins are graded in different conditions. MS=mint state au=almost uncurculated xf-extra fine vf=very fine f=fine vg=very good G=good ag=almost good there is lower but just to get the idea. i am not into Canadians that much, but i would say that one is worth melt value. around $3.50. i hope i was able to be of some help. someone who knows Canadian coins, will be able to give you a better idea. but imho, its worth melt. and welcome! edit: if the walking liberty is really worn, the melt value is around $6 to $7. silver dime, is worth around a dollar. the 1972 dollar coins could be worth something($6) if they are silver..look for an "s" mintmark. the lincoln cent aint worth much unless its uncurculated. and the washington quarters are also worth around $3.50, unless in they are au or better.
Thanks. Yeah, I also have no idea about Canadian coins that's why I figured I'd ask. That also why I kept the silver washingtons, for melt, if it ever comes to that. I figured I'd keep it around because it's the oldest coin I own at 1919 :]. Thanks though
I apologize....What I meant was it would depend on the condition of the coin; in poor condition it would be worth at least melt value; or if it was in the best condition MS 64 it could be worth $450.
