Pic by Todd of course. Just a common date with incredible color. Reverse is clean and blast white. Charmy said looking at it in hand, wow, thats pretty ( for a Silver coin ) lol...
Sweet coins, nice morgan toners are becoming harder to find, I've got a few from the good old days before the prices went balistic and sent 10 back to ngc for a star, 8 came back with the star, yipp:mouth:ee
Lemme guess the grade for the heck of it, assuming they are both in NGC holders. 1880-(Don't know MM) MS64* 1885-(Don't know MM) MS65 I like the 85' better than the 80' actually, but they are both nice coins.
I don't think either got a star, but since there are no reverse photos, I won't guess on the grades. Chris
C'mon, it'll be fun, two toned coins, with small photos, and no reverse shots. When will there ever be another time you can guess a grade like this!
I did not mean for this to be a guess the grade thread. Both are NGC 64's. No stars, no CAC . I usualy dont buy Morgans but these yelled at me and the price was right. Both have white reverses, nothing special, just a nice looking, decent toned obverse. I'll put them away and hope the toning fad does not go away in 15 years
LOL! I know Jack, just wanted to have a little fun, see if I could 'guess' the grade from small photos Yeah Jack, you will always strike me as a copper man, these better be the only Morgans in your collection, I'll have to tattle on you. Nice pick-ups.
