Would You Sell Every Coin In Your Collection For...

    No, as selling everything to get a single very valuable coin means that, if you want to go on collecting, you would have to find other coins in the same range, which is impossible for me.
    And I like very much most of my coins. it would be difficult to part of them.

    Easier the second or third time

    I have done it twice. In both cases, I kept a few special items, not the most expensive or most saleable, but the ones I bought from some reason very basic to my own psyche. So, I did not sell them to buy just one otherwise unaffordable item, as you are intending.

    As Cumcumbor notes: " ... if you want to go on collecting, you would have to find other coins in the same range ..."

    So, there is that.

    Did that once over 30 years ago, but not to buy a coin. Probably the biggest mistake I ever made. :headbang:
