Guess The Grade...Buffalo Nickel.

    Ah, this is news to me.
    I thought they meant the grade was a MS63 to MS65, which I thought was kind of odd, but hey thanks for clearing that one up.
    When did ANACS stop grading like this?

    God no! I'm sure relics needn't be reminded either that the cert is the best part of that coin.

    Sorry, but I don't know a bunch of specifics. Something like the late 80's, or 1990. Maybe condor can chime in.

    Just to clear things up. I am currently trying to put together a U.S. Type set with only coins graded by ANACS from the 1970's and 80's. This was before the use of what we call slabs today. Anacs photographed the coin and issued a certificate with the grade and photos on it. The coin was put into a flip and mailed back to the submitter with this certificate. I currently have about 55 or 60 different U.S. type coins with these certificates.

    The cert is dated - 1986. This one is known as ANACS 7.
