I went to the bank today just wanting to get lucky and get a couple wheat cents and found nothing in 8 rolls. I know i only got 8 rolls but it was still disappointing. Anyone else have a disappointing draw in the past few weeks?
sometimes you will get wheats and sometimes not... They are still out there... try the $50.00 bag... bring your muscles though.
We've all made mistakes at one time or another, but it just emphasizes the importance of learning as much as you can. Chris
No, no, no, no, no... you are not alone here. For some reason I still love to shoot myself in the foot by over bidding after all these years. It takes practice I guess as well as knowing the fact that you can always find a coin cheaper if you do your research first.
At least your willing to learn so many people will just ignore all help(after they ask for it) and do what they want then cry when they try to sell them
The last batch I did didn't turn up anything to write home about. I do 4 rolls of cents at a time...I average 1 wheat per roll and 5 Canadians per 4 roll search...The last batch of four I did yeilded one wheat and only two Canadians. Very low totals! Not a single upgrade in the lot of four rolls. I usually get one or two at least. The wheat was a 1958 D. At least I also did 4 nickel rolls and came up with two upgrades. 1984 D and 1973 D. Oddly enough I also got a 1958 D nickel but it was not as nice as the one I previously had.
You might check 1,000 rolls and still never get a wheat, it is all based on probability of what you think will happen. Even when I search hundreds of rolls, I still come out with only a few wheats, one might think more but no. Better luck next time, and welcome to the forum.
