Hey guys, So I graduated this year and I'm looking into buying a graded MS-69 Silver Eagle to keep as a "souvenir" from this year. I have one from the year of my birth (not graded but still in original packaging) and figured this year would be a good year to get another one. I was just wondering which grading service I should get (PCGS or NGC). I never buy graded coins so I just wanted to know which one would have better quality. Also, is there a cheaper place then APMEX to buy one? Thanks, Tyler
Either is fine. I think my local dealer has them in his net price box, PCGS and/or NGC graded MS-69 at $25-$29.
Congratulations on graduating. Both PCGS and NGC are fine. I think ASE bullion coins look better in the clear PCGS slab than the white NGC slab though. Check out: http://www.providentmetals.com/bullion/silver/us-slv/pcgs-ngc-certified-silver-eagles.html TC
