The dates don't look particularly smaller---maybe a fraction. The key is the position of the seven in relation to its height compared to the zero. If all of the ones you have, however many that my be, look the same---then almost certainly they are "large dates", because the "small date" variety is very rare---almost as rare as the 1909-S---

You can try this, too. Hold a straight edge across the very tops of the 9 and the 0. If part of the 7 is hidden beneath the straight edge, it's a small date. If most of the 7 is visible, it's a large date---

LOL, I have sent coins for swaps, but never got anything back. If I have a small date, would it be gone too ? LOL

Thanks to Fifty, I just ran my first box of $.50. They came from USBank and were machine rolled with no name on the bag other than USBank.

I was skunked! Was fun, the Wife even helped.

The Bank was very helpful and will let me order a bag a week. Still not sure where to dump my old ones yet. Maybe another USBank across town?

Any ideas on the type of rolls I received having future keepers?

    Vice-Pres

Well, I mentioned about the vice-president that came out to my car last week. I also know one of the tellers there as she used to be at another bank. Anyway, e-mailed her today to see if he had been back in but no luck. I am going to e-mail him tomorrow and see if he followed through for me.

On another note: I did pick up 5 silver coins on the way home today.

    1943
    1967
    1967
    1968

1982 George Washington Commemorative. Never found one of these so very cool!

    Also, my first 2010 halves.

Anyway, that was in 1 CWR and $8.50 loose that one bank had.

I'm not sure where you are located at, but I'm in the Midwest and use TCF Bank to dump at. They have free coin-counter machines at most branches. I haven't had any issues with them yet about it.

    Good luck.

    4 boxes of halves: 10-40%, 4-90%, 5-Bicentennial S-Proofs (only ones I've ever found),
    3-72 s-proofs, 91 s-proof, and 2-82p no fg.

Then went to another bank I rarely go to and got 10 strings rolls (nothing) and 13 CWR. Out of the 13 CWR, I got 63-40% and 2-90% !!! By far my best find yet. After last weeks 30 bank silver shutout, this feels pretty good.

Also, picked up 10 strings rolls of 2009-d nickels. Y'all think I should get more of them? I know they have a low mintage, but don't know if I need more than the 10 rolls I already got.

I have found 3 total.....they have a lot of value, even more so than the 90% 1964. :)

No thanks, my swapping luck on CT has been not so good. Somehow, I feel I will come up empty handed ? LOL

This isn't really a roll find, but I work at Dominos Pizza and sometimes customers will leave a small tip. Today a customer left me 1.25, so before I left I got 10 dimes and 5 nickels. I looked through the nickels and didn't find anything, but then after I searched through 9 dimes, the last one looked a little different. It was a 1962 silver dime! It was pretty awesome and the first cool coin I've found in circulation.

Haha yeah I know! It started when I was with my grandma and I found a 1926 indian head quarter eagle in a house she was cleaning out! Now, every time I get change I'm looking for rare dates or silvers!

Wow, that 1/4 eagle is worth at least $200 even in fair condition. Nice!
