I finally found one after many boxes of searching! It's a beauty.

Aw nice! I still haven't found one of these in the wild. And after many boxes of trying have come up empty-handed. And it makes it even more difficult for me because I'm in California, so most of the circulated coins that I see are Denver/SF minted. Even the 1992 D is a challenge because it is one of the hardest to find.

Anyone know what the value would be in this condition? I've read there are only 350 of these in existence. Are they that rare? Seems like a low number to me.

    Thanks,
    JasonB

LCR has a price guide that has AU- $175 to MS-66 $2000.
How accurate this is I don't know...

That's just awesome. I keep looking, the only wide AM I've found so far is a 2000.

    Graded!

I got the coin graded by ANACS. They just sent me the shipping notification. It's graded MS-62! Yahooo!

I found one of these in a jar of change at the house with my son. We were pumped but when we turned the coin over it appeared that someone had taken a nail and completed gouged the obverse of the coin....what a disappointment.

Congrats! These are scarce and very difficult to find seaching.

Once again this coin proves my point that NONE of the big TPG's can grade Memorial cents worth a crap. IMO the posted coin is an AU-50 at best. It has obvious signs of circulation wear. You should be happy with that slab.

I've found two 99 WAM's so far in my life. One I graded at MS-63/64RD and it came back NGC MS-65RD. I sold it for $550. The second one I have not sent out yet, but I graded it MS-62 so I suspect a TPG will give it a 63/64.
