One of the appealing things about African notes, they are unusual, and scarce. They are usually well designed and colourful and appreciate well over time. Gabon is currently on the radar screen too, because Gabon happens to be where Survivor is being filmed for CBS.
That is a really nice looking note, ie artistically and condition wise. Makes me want to get into World Notes seriously... I think I just might...
these guys had me convinced as of last week lol so next weekend when the local coin show happens if i have a few hours where i'm not working i'll probably pick up my first world notes
this is why i love world notes, so much like a piece of fine art! for me its american coins, with a bit of world notes.. nice job, i don't think i have anything from Africa, i am going to have to look into that.
Very nice acquisition. So how many do you have in your harem now? Anywhere close to King Tamba of Banaras (India) 6th c BC? Reputedly said to have had 16,000 concubines (and obviously an endless supply of viagra!). Post some more and I'll have to check to see how many I have in mine (just don't tell my wife).
The growing Harem, Good too see something different here...and you posting again .I'm going to start looking for African notes, very colorful . One more for the Harem http://www.scottishmoney.net/banknotes/banknotes.html
