    Amazing scores from the expo

So I went to the coin expo today. Spent about $150, but it was well worth it. I got my first graded notes today (2 $5's for only $20 each), and here's the list. After I scan them tonight and put them on banknotebank, I'll be sure to post the scans here as well. Everything is Uncirculated or About Uncirculated.

    USA:
    $1 Silver Cert 1957 2 Consecutive - $9.50 each
    $1 FRN 1963A G* - $8
    $1 FRN 1963A DB - $8 (Trinary of 0, 3, 8)
    $1 FRN 1963 CA - $2.50
    $1 FRN 1963 DA - $2.50
    $5 FRN 1950D GE - $22 (Graded PCGS 65PPQ)
    $5 FRN 1969 GB - $22 (Graded PCGS 65PPQ)

    World:
    Myanmar 50 Pyas - $2.50
    Iceland 10 Kroner - $1.75
    Iceland 50 Kroner - $1.75

    Romania 10 Lei (Socialist Era) - $4
    Belarus 25 Rubles - $2.50
    Italy 500 Lira - $2
    Vietnam 200 Dong - $1.50
    Vietnam 500 Dong - $1
    Egypt 10 Piastres - $1
    Brazil 5 Cruzeiros - $1
    Brazil 1 Cruzeiro - $1
    Greece 50 Drachmas - $1
    Serbian Krajina 5000 Dinars - $1
    Haiti 1 Gourde - $2
    Afghanistan 2 Dinars - $3
    Biafra 1 Pound - $1
    Sudan 1 Pound - $1.75
    Zambia 500 Kwacha - $3
    Zambia 500 Kwacha - $3
    North Korea 5 Won - $8
    CCCP 1 Ruble - $20
    Lebanon 50 Livres - $1
    Lebanon 250 Livres - $2.50
    Yugoslavia 500 Dinars - $1
Zimbabwe 50 Trillion Dollars (Actual banknote, not bank cheque) - $2

The prices listed are not what I paid. Rather, they are the prices marked. I paid $150 for all of these notes (38 in total), making them cost an average of about $3.95 each. Not a bad day at the expo at all! :hail:

Looks like you had alot of fun and looking forward to the Iceland pics. I'm glad you posted the asking prices and how much you spent. I wish more people would.

I'm about half done right now. I'm looking each note up in the Standard Catalogue of Paper Money so that I can get the Pick numbers and such all correct. It seems that I got a few pretty good deals, as I go through them. :hammer:

And that's all of today's pickups. Took about 5 hours to scan and upload and then put them on here.

    What do you guys think?

  10. They look good, and it's a great addition to your collection...but could you please hit enter after each image so they go down and not to the side? It makes seeing them much easier! :)

50 trillion....haha. Those hyper-inflated Zimbabwe notes always crack me up when I see them. I need to pick up a couple just for fun. Maybe I'll grab a 100 trillion one next time I see it.

Nice pickups from that expo !
