I'll go first and guess VF, lets see if my guess holds up

I was thinking the same thing, it should be here in a week or so. Definately better than VG ;)

Vf-20 But would sell very quick at greysheet pice as it is hard to find a nice uncleaned bust half.Good find Bonedigger.Keep looken for those uncleaned ones you will be happier in the long run. Tom T.

I think the darkness takes away from the "look"....VF detail but F cleaned.

speedy, i disagree mate.. i think that this coin has been handled gently, but got worn tough. Look at the eagle's breast. i think it warrants more than a F.

    Hi,
Maybe an F-15 based on the pic. Not enough detail around the clasp and not enough detail on the curls at the forehead.

wow, thanks foundinrolls, i totally overlooked the forehead curls.. :headbang:
yeah, based on that, i'd call it F-15.

I think it would have gone VF if not for the cleaning...you can see the cleaning part on the the eagle....it looks like hairlines all going one way.....
It is rare for a Bust Half not to be cleaned at some point in time so its nothing big and bad for this coin to be cleaned....but it would lower the grade to F. IMO

I once heard that if you cleaned a coin with bleach it would turn it dark but I don't know if this was done on this coin or not.
