Do i have an error swiss coin?

i have a swiss coin with a notch on the top. is it an error or does this normally happen with swiss coins?

Might be a "clipped" planchet. What does the notch look like?

Here is a picture of the coin, its a bit fuzzy because my camera is pretty bad but, the notch is shown on the top.

 

It appears to be a 10 Rappen? The notch is difficult to make out. From your description it looks like a clipped planchet.
