1987 D doubling ?

    Is this machine doubling or in the die ?

    DDD, die deteriorated doubling. The die was pretty much at the end of its life...

    Thanks. I have read this and re read it several times. I think I really need to see some genuine examples to glean any great understanding ?.

    Thanks, I will save the pics for reference. I will start the rolls of 1943's in a few weeks since I am working backwards.

    Wow....those are some really good examples...I guess a few of the cents that I thought had minimal doubling actually didn't...really good job.
