I love date collectors. The dig in the field probably scare off some, but the surfaces are nice compared to many from that date.
Very nice cent. I love coins that have served their intended use and survived to "tell" many stories.
Now - who provides large cents for a song....I may sound like a country bumpkin, but would sing for coins like this. Nice addition Marshall.
I picked it up since my memory failed me. I thought it was an upgrade for a Fr2 example I used to complete my 1802 series (except NCs) but i misremembered. It is actually about the same net grade as the one I have. You can't go wrong with scarce varieties though.
