I found these today and all three of them look different to me. The first one looks like a small date. The second one looks like a large date. BUT, the third one has a look all it's own. What am I missing? The 6's, the 9's and the 0's all look different to me. I drew a line under the 0 to show the difference of the 1 in the date to the others. Also, could this be a re-punched mint mark? (set of arrows in the last image).

The pics are a little small but I think you have two sm dates and a lg. I don't really see anything unusual, at least I don't think so...

I cannot tell if it is a RPM (or which one if it is). The picture would have to be WAY bigger and clearer. There are a lot of 60D RPMs so it is totally possible, however most are on lg dates...

At one time there were believed to be three sizes, small, medium, and large.
Later it was conclusively proved, based on Mint records, that only two different sized dates were used for 1960. The so-called medium date was merely a large date die that had been heavily abraded, altering the shape and appearance of the digits.
I found a set that was advertised a such.

looks like a small date, and two large dates.
The "D" looks like it's a machine double... flat shelf look instead of the rounded look of a true double die.

That "D" looks interesting to me, but I amnot the expert. Maybe desertgem will be around to tell us.

Although the photo needs to be a little larger and sharper, I agree that MD is the most likely answer. Notice that the "0" in the date has almost an identical outline.
