i ordered a 2009 silver proof set from the mint. it was supposed to be here monday when i got home around 8ish it wasnt there so i went online checked my tracking number and it said it was delivered already, no sig required.
i know i saw on the mint web that everything is insured, do you think i will get my money back or at least the same thing through the mail from them.

Call the mint, and your post office. And yes, you should get your money back or a replacement.

If nothing else, call your credit card company and file a claim.

If you live in a house with an attached garage, go check the front door, which most people don't use in this situation.

And for the rest of us who don't live in the new developments, that is where the mail box is.

For some others they hop in their pickup, and drive a bit down a dirt road, to get to the mailbox. They refer to us as "city folk".

Yup, I can't see my mailbox. Its a 1/5 of a mile down a dirt road. The OP shouldn't have any trouble getting a replacement. If you find the thief introduce him to a pair of boltcutters. Pinky fingers are useless anyhow, no big deal:mad:...

I would give it a few more days. The info on the mint web site is never right.

so many packages get stolen around my area. there is a group of people that use it as there business. i even ran into them and they offered me a car cd player still in the ups box:rolling:. i managed to look at the address and got there number, because "i had to think about buying it". i reported it to the police and sure enough it was one of the stolen items, but the number was a pre-paid phone.

i always wait around when i see the package is "on the truck". if i can't i will get my girl to wait. i have even paid my little sister $5 an hour to wait! the $30 was well worth not getting $800 rims and tires that were $300 each, stolen.

i would definitely call both the mint and post office. don't wait to long, you don't want to give them any reason to not refund or replace your item!(not saying, they will definitely do that, but still).
