It's a Chinese Dragon Coin, from which province I can't tell. Whether it's counterfeit or not I don't know. Is that both sides of the one coin?
Check this out before you get all excited; http://coins.about.com/od/worldcoins/ig/Chinese-Counterfeiting-Ring/Chinese-Fake-Coin-Minting.htm
Many of the symbols match this: Y# 4 10 CASH Copper Ruler: Kuang-hsü Obv. Insc.: Kuang-hsü Yüan-pao Rev: Side view dragon Rev. Leg.: HU POO but I haven't found a match for the double dragon reverse yet....still looking.
A reputable coin dealer might know. If not hang out here, there's other that know a whole bunch more then myself...
Couldn't find it either except in a group of novalty coins.; http://www.etsy.com/listing/48135981/five-vintage-novelty-old-chinese-dragon

China, AR Tael of Emperor Guang Xu. The picture isn't clear enough, but I would bet anything that its a cast fake. Compare: http://www.zeno.ru/showphoto.php?photo=10891 rockdude - Just because the coin is not attracted to a magnet means its silver, most of the copies coming from China are in fact cast in tin.
So here is mine. Specifications: non-magnetic 45mm diameter 2mm thick 25.88gms Milled edge but... a flattening or wear at 3 o'clock and 9 o'clock also a doubling of the milling at about 3 minutes after 12 o'clock and at about 3 minutes after 6 o'clock. Comparison with kangayou's pictures: The dragons are smaller (the design is further from the outer edge), the two designs on the reverse at 3 o'clock and 9 o'clock are closer to the inner circle of dots. The fields on the reverse are clear but on the obverse there are some very small areas that seem to be extra metal. Overall conclusion? It is a fake/copy but a nice one at that. However I would love to be proved wrong. If anyone wants closer details then just tell me of what areas of and I'll try to take some higher res scans of them.
thaivic, Could it be possible that the differences between your coin and the images of the pattern coin I borrowed from KP is that yours was actually intended for circulation ? I do see significant design differences between to 2 but I see significant differences between US circulated coins and the Patterns they were based on. Have you tried doing an overlay of your coin with the OP's coin , since his seems to be well circulated ?
