Going over the coins I have, I found a 1935 D Indian/buffalo nickle with a misstrike (I'm new to this) on the Indian side (Observe??) of the coin. I can't find any info on this coin, so I was wondering first if it is a new error, or a common error?

You can see the misstrike along the hair, forhead, nose and upper lip, and thier is also indications on the eye but hard to pick up on a photo.
    Hopefully my photo attached?

Just looks like a double die error to me....but I'm still learning the basics. Maybe a mod will give you more detail.

Too hard to tell from the photos.

I have to agree with Nd - hard to say based on the pic. I see what you are talking about - but - just hard to say for sure.

I will say that there is no variety like the one you pictured in the Cherrypicker's Guide. They do have one for the date & mint - but that variety deals with the mint mark only.

I will try to get a better Pic tomorrow, because the one I took doesn't realy show it the best. there is actually a more defined area on the forehead which I belive will better prove my point.

If you have not done so already, have you contacted coin world to ask them about your coin?
